Administration of all benefits programs to include health, retirement, and wellness. Manages employee leaves (FMLA, ADAAA and Military).

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Most important to this position is confidentiality, human relation skills, especially the ability to communicate effectively with others, be detail oriented and work independently. Incumbent must demonstrate proficient oral and written communications and time management skills as well as considerable tact and diplomacy to build and maintain professional relationships with staff and outside HR vendors.
A four year college degree in Business or Human Resources and minimum of 3years of Benefit and Leave Administration in Human Resources OR 9 years of human resource/personnel experience with a minimum of 3 years in Benefit and Leave Administration in Human Resources, is required to adequately perform the job duties. Must possess working knowledge of state/federal laws surrounding HR functions. Incumbent must also have experience in using spreadsheet (Excel) and word processing software to create, review and revise, reconciliation's and reports. PHR/SPHR preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical requirements are minimal, however position involves wrist/hand manipulation; frequent viewing of computer/PC monitor; ability to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop and reach overhead. Must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Valid drivers' license.
EQUIPMENT SKILLS
Personal computer with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook. Additionally, calculator, copy machine/fax machine and scanner. Experience with ADP payroll preferred.
